Hawthorn Lodge in Belturbet offers an abundance of tench some up to 6lb are to be found in some of the local lakes as well as good size roach and hybrids, this all makes for good sport for most anglers. Tench have really taken off in some of the local lakes with early morning and evening producing the best bream and tench fishing. With some rivers and lakes having easy access and very little walking to fishing pegs this makes the area surrounding Hawthorn Lodge a great place to stay. Exclusive to Anglers World Holidays.
At Hawthorn Lodge there are four en-suite bedrooms with TV and tea tray. Steve and Pauline Rodgers are your hosts and Steve is an experienced British angler and readily offers advice on where to fish. In fact he goes the extra yard and tells his guests all about the best swims and methods. He will give you a tour of the lakes and for newcomers he usually takes them to different waters every couple of days. The bait and tackle facilities are excellent and if you give him a call a fortnight before your holiday, he will collect your bait from Irish Bait & Tackle.
