Islamorada is the sea fishing capital of Florida. The calm water of the Gulf is rich in food and fish providing light action for redfish, bonefish and jacks to bigger species like tarpon, shark and sawfish. There is big grouper too.

Dave Plummer hosts just two anglers each week and guests fish from his well-equipped boat in comfort. Non-fishing accompanying spouses can be accommodated free of charge.

Your base is close to Islamorada in a spacious two bedroomed house. Accommodation is from Saturday to Saturday and you get five 8 hour days fishing (split into two 4 hour sessions). There is an optional rest day or you can pay for an extra days fishing in resort. There is the choice of Gulf water fishing and Atlantic blue water fishing with a huge variety of species on fly, lure with all tackle supplied.

Transfers to and from Miami International Airport are included. Islamorada in the Florida Keys is just over an hours drive from Miami Airport.

Flights from the UK are not included.

The fishing was marvellous and the wildlife, birds and many other smaller species of fish that we saw really made our holiday.
