Perfectly located for exploring the prolific coarse and pike fishing on Lough Derg. You can hire a boat to both fish from and reach and fish off otherwise inaccessible shorelines close by. Boat rental is a total of 280 euro per week. 19 foot stable lough boat with electric start 9.9hp outboard. You pay for fuel.

This three bedroom 4*cottage in Lough Derg will sleep 6 people in a double room and 2 twin bedded rooms. It has a tastefully furnished living/dining room with wood burning stove and a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing machine and dryer.

The property also benefits from a bathroom with bathtub and a separate shower room with electric shower. Bed linen and towels provided. A fridge freezer is available for bait storage. Heating and electricity are metered and paid locally. 120 litre bag of waste per week is included - additional waste will be charged for.

Fraoch is centrally located and ideal for a short break or extended holiday in Ireland. Garrkennedy is just a mile away and has a restaurant and two pubs that host traditional music nights during the season. Further afield you will find Portroe (4 miles), Nenagh (10 miles) and Ballina/Killaloe (10 miles).
