Currygrane in Ballinalee is located just 15 minutes from Longford town in a quiet rural setting on the shoreline of its own lake, right in the heart of the Upper Shannon & Erne Waterway. Excellent coarse fishing for quality bream on the feeder. Fish the pole and waggler for prolific roach, hybrids and tench.
The restored stone cottage has two en-suite bedrooms; one with double bed and one with twin beds. Bed linen is supplied, but take your own towels. It is centrally heated throughout and has a TV lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
Currygrane Lake has a wide variety of fish including pike, bream, tench, perch and roach in relatively unexplored waters. There is a slipway and boat house fifty yards from the lodge, with boat and outboard engine provided for the sole use of the occupants. There is also tackle storage and bait fridges. The Lodge is within easy reach of the River Shannon at Lanesborough and the River Inny and numerous other lakes are nearby.
The nearest pub and shop are located 1.5km away.
