Cruising the great Shannon River is one of the best ways to enjoy Ireland's natural beauty. The Shannon flows into Ireland's two Largest Lakes - Lough Ree and Lough Derg - which contain many small islands of varying historical significance. You may cruise and fish on the Shannon itself and from island to island on the lakes, enjoying the changing scenery and sampling the atmosphere of the local pubs and restaurants in the variety of towns and villages along the waterway.

Lough Ree Cruisers is a small family run company specialising in self-drive boat hire on the River Shannon. They offer 6 berth cabin cruisers for hire at special rates, perfect for 2 to 4 anglers. The cruisers sliding roof feature over the saloon area has earned this boats reputation - pleasant in all weathers with the option of open air cruising and dining. Spacious and comfortable; all boats are well maintained and equipped to a high standard.

The front cabin has a double berth, en-suite shower, toilet and wash basin, wardrobe and dressing table. The rear cabin has either a double or two singles depending on model of cruiser. Linen and towels are provided. There is a separate shower and toilet. The spacious saloon and dining area is open plan with a settee that converts into a double bed, folding dining table and ample storage. The galley features a gas fridge and cooker with grill and oven. There is a single drainer sink unit and ample shelves and storage.

Lough Ree Cruisers Hire any day except Sunday. On arrival you will be shown on board and taken through all aspects of handling a cruiser, including a full test drive.

Please note there is a 650 Euro security/damage deposit payable by cash or card, which will be refunded if the cruiser is returned undamaged. Diesel is extra, payable locally.
