Russell has an extensive knowledge of fishing and can offer many different freshwater fishing trips to suit each individual angler. You are able to book weekly or daily trips.
Accommodation is located in the lovely hamlet of Corte Cobres and has fishing available within walking distance. The house has two double bedrooms and a single room. There are additional properties close by which are available for rent for larger groups.
Russell’s boat is a 3m inflatable with electric outboard plus fish finder and provides a safe and stable ride. Rods, reels and tackle are available to use and fishing licenses are organised on your behalf.
Bird watching is also excellent near the accommodation with great bustards nesting 2km from the house. You can also see several types of birds of prey including eagles and sometimes vultures. Shrikes are everywhere. Another favourite in the evening is the red-necked nightjar, and stone curlew. Other birds include cranes, crested pochard, spoonbills, egrets, kingfishers, purple heron, night heron and glossy ibis.
