“2017 has been a great year for fishing and our guests returned home with many memories and a few new fishing stories!
Spring fishing really came on this April as the weather warmed up and runs of fresh Steelhead started to enter the rivers. Spring fishing can be variable but it is a magical time to be here when everything comes back to life. It is a great time to catch fresh Steelhead returning to the coastal streams and rivers. As well as Steelhead there were good runs of trout.
The summer fishery offers bright silver fish full of energy that will challenge even the most seasoned anglers. With all five species of salmon and Steelhead in the rivers there was no shortage of action for our anglers. From beginner to expert, our guests all hooked a lot of fish! This is a great time of the season to be here.
Fall fishing gives our guests a variety of rivers to fish for both large Northern Coho and Steelhead. Anglers also have the option of drifting, jet boating or hiking remote wilderness rivers. Sight fishing in these remote rivers is an exciting adventure. Our guests had some great catches of Steelhead and Coho this year. For those anglers who don't mind a bit of cooler weather the fishing can continue right through into November".
