A flight of around 7 hours brings you to the scenic East Coast of Prince Edward Island. Delightful fishing ports, fine dining and some amazing fishing. Bluefin Tuna dominate the fishing season here. Short trips bring you to some big shoals of these mighty predators, attracted into the shallow coastal waters, by vast bait shoals of herring.
Well crewed boats take you to action fast and in comfort. All tackle and bait is included and our crews are slick and experienced. White Water, The Tuna Clipper 44 foot fibreglass safe and comfortable well crewed boats. Skippers Jamie and Troy Bruce have 37 years combined experience. 2 fish limit catch and release per day. Max 6 anglers per boat.
Dave Plummer hosts selected trips or you can make your own group of 2 to 4 persons.
The recommended trip is Peak season - August to early October - Fly to Halifax, Nova Scotia. - stay overnight at airport hotel or drive to Souris (about 5 hours). Collect your hire vehicle and drive to PEI (approx 5 hours) - self catering houses are the most popular or hotel room only - suggest 6 nights 5 days fishing. - all bait & tackle supplied.
Fishing: Bluefin Tuna are strictly protected. Boats must return to port after each catch and release. Therefore two half day sessions are included each day with a lunch break in port. The fishing grounds are located inshore in generally sheltered waters close to port.
Season July to October inclusive. Flights to Halifax. A suggested overnight stay before taking a hire car drive (6 hours) to Souris. Accommodation is in small hotels or self catering houses. Packages can be for any duration the ideal is 1 night Halifax, 6 nights in Souris and 5 days skippered fishing.
Flights from the UK are not included.
