Azure Del Mar is an oceanfront boutique hideaway, which features traditional Belizean accommodations, a first class restaurant, lush tropical gardens and beautiful vistas. An open air, thatched roof restaurant offers one of the most satisfying dining experiences on the Placencia peninsula. The menu offers a range of delectable fare featuring fresh, local ingredients made to order. Asian influenced dishes that are unique to the Placencia peninsula, while the experience of the table top Korean BBQ is the only one of its kind in Belize. A well-stocked bar features daily drink specials and light fare is offered throughout the day making this the perfect place to relax with views over the Caribbean Sea. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including fishing and snorkelling. There is a private beach area and bikes are available. The Azure del Mar also has pier/docks for guide boats to collect and drop off after a day’s fishing. Troll inside the reef for snapper, barracuda, jack, and yellow tail or fly fish the flats for bone fish or permit. Deep sea fishing outside the reef is also available.
Snorkelling and scuba diving trips can be arranged. Other trips which can be booked include Monkey River, Jaguar Reserve, Maya Ruins & Blue Creek Cave, Xunantunich Ruins & Blue Hole National Park, and Zip Lining.
