Tarpons Nest Lodge has experienced guides and excellent inshore boats with excellent facilities. All tackle and bait is supplied. Bedrooms are well furnished and air conditioned. 10 single/doubles with one Queen sized bed. 1 bedroom has a large bed and second smaller bed again air conditioned. There are two comfortable lounge areas a patio with small swimming pool and a bar area where breakfast and lunch is served (included on fishing days.)
Fly fishing for tarpon.. Anglers should take their own fly gear require.. 8 to 10 weight rods, Sink tippets essential. Floating and medium sink lines, saltwater gear. Expect tarpon in the 5 to 80lb range but with the chance of 100lb plus fish. Fly fishing tackle and the best flies can be supplied locally with prior notice.
