The area around Brielle is one of the most diverse fishing regions in the Netherlands. The nearby Brielse Meer is renowned for carp, pike, pike-perch, perch, bream and roach fishing. The Voornse Kanaal also offers excellent coarse fishing opportunities and is a popular destination for anglers. In addition, the harbours and waterways around Brielle and Hellevoetsluis provide attractive fishing locations. For sea anglers, the North Sea coast, Maasvlakte and Haringvliet are all within easy reach, offering a wide variety of saltwater fishing opportunities. This combination of freshwater, harbour and sea fishing makes Brielle an ideal destination for both recreational and experienced anglers.

The surrounding region of Voorne-Putten offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including cycling and walking routes through polders, nature reserves and along the waterfront of the Brielse Meer.
