Riumar on the Costa Dorada provides an excellent base for light-tackle lure, bait and fly fishing along the inshore waters of the Mediterranean. Anglers also have the opportunity to target the famous catfish of the nearby River Ebro. All fishing tackle is provided, although guests who wish to fly fish are encouraged to bring their own fly gear. We recommend arriving and departing via Reus Airport, which is approximately a 40-minute drive from the resort. Flights are not included. Car hire or taxi transfers can be arranged.

Riumar sits where the Ebro River meets the Mediterranean Sea and is a small, welcoming resort offering a good selection of restaurants and bars. The area is well known for its diverse fishing opportunities and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Roned Sportfishing packages include the services of a skipper/guide, boat fishing licence, bait, fuel and the use of all fishing equipment. Anglers can charter a boat exclusively or join a shared charter. Fishing can take place either on the Mediterranean Sea, on the River Ebro for catfish, or as a combination of both.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable, well-furnished self-catering villas and apartments are located just 500 metres from the beach. All properties are situated in the same area and include free Wi-Fi. Typical packages include seven nights’ accommodation with five days of fishing, although shorter or longer stays can be arranged.
A wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and the harbour are all within easy walking distance, making Riumar a convenient and enjoyable base for a fishing holiday.

Roned Sportfishing offers a professional guided fishing experience, with options for inshore, offshore and Delta fishing. Target species vary throughout the season, with the prime fishing period running from April to October.

Large Bluefin tuna are regularly caught further offshore using bait and chumming techniques, while lighter spinning gear is used when targeting smaller tuna.

The region offers a wide range of exciting fishing opportunities. Bluefin tuna from around 80lb up to 300lb+ are regularly caught on stand-up gear. In September and October, Dorado fishing on fly and lures can be exceptional, with boats sometimes encountering 30 to 50 fish in a single day. During the warmer summer months, Bluefish and Leerfish are commonly found around the estuary and river mouth. In addition to superb sea fishing, anglers also have the option to pursue the legendary giant Ebro catfish.
