Explore the Arctic
Boats are Arronet 30 SPT, an ideal boat for fishing trips. At 9.4 metres long and 2.8 metres wide, the boats have been designed with comfort, safety and maximum fishing space in mind. The centre console provides sheltered seating, offering protection from the elements when required. Each boat is equipped with state-of-the-art Garmin navigation and safety equipment, including a chartplotter, echosounder, radar and VHF. Powered by twin 150hp Yamaha engines, the boats offer excellent performance and allow you to reach the best fishing areas quickly. A portable Porta Potti toilet is also provided onboard.

Safety is a key priority, and each boat carries comprehensive safety and rescue equipment, including a life raft, life jackets, lifebuoy with light, throw line, rescue ladder, fixed and handheld VHF radios, EPIRB, AIS-SART, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid equipment and emergency flare kit. Skippers hold a D5L certificate and are trained in safety and first aid, passenger and crisis management. They also hold the required health and VHF certificates.

Boats are equipped with Minn kota RT Terrova bow mounted trolling motors. The trolling motors allow maintenance of a steady speed and direction while fishing and can be especially useful when fishing in areas with strong currents or wind. The Spot-Lock feature uses highly accurate GPS technology to keep the boat securely in position, allowing anglers to stay directly over productive fishing spots.

This is a serious sea fishing location with high standards of accommodation and top fishing advice. With such a wealth of additional activities, it is the ideal centre for non-anglers too. Summer activities include hiking, walking, sea kayaks, touring and cycling. Winter activities are snowshoe walking, husky dog sledding, Northern Lights and whale watching.
